Ushbu maqolada dunyo tuproq salomatligi ko‘rsatkichi va qiymati, ularning tuproqdagi roli funksiyasi ko‘rsatkichlariga ta’siri tahlil qilinadi. Tuproq sifatining keskin pasayishi tufayli respublikamizda tuproq unumdorligi pasayib bormoqda, tuproq unumdorligi va sifatini pasaytiruvchi ko‘rsatkichlar o‘rganilib, ularni yaxshilash choralari ko‘rilmoqda. Yangi Zelandiya, Amerika, Kolumbiya, Shvetsiya va boshqa bir qancha mamlakatlar kabi ushbu xorijiy davlatlar yuqori hosil olishda tuproq salomatligi muhimligini, tuproq salomatligini baholash va undan qishloq xo‘jaligi va oziq-ovqat xavfsizligini ta’minlashdagi rolini ta'kidladilar. Respublikamizda tuproq salomatligi va uning ko‘rsatkichlari bo‘yicha tavsiyalar va amaliy chora-tadbirlar ishlab chiqish bo‘yicha ma’lumotlar tahlil qilindi.
