Ushbu maqolada Schoenoplectus triqueter (Scirpus triqueter) o‘simligining tarqalish areallari, ekologik funksiyalari hamda kimyoviy tarkibidagi biologik faol moddalari o‘rganilgan. Tadqiqot davomida mazkur turning suv havzalarida tabiiy biofiltr sifatida suv sifatini yaxshilashdagi roli, ekotizim barqarorligini saqlashdagi ahamiyati tahlil qilindi. O‘simlikning ildiz va poya qismlaridan ajratib olingan ekstraktlarning kimyoviy tarkibi aniqlanib, flavonoidlar, fenolik birikmalar, polisaxaridlar, organik kislotalar va uglevodlarning mavjudligi qayd etildi. Shuningdek, ekstraktlarning antioksidant, antibakterial hamda sitotoksik xususiyatlari aniqlanib, ayniqsa A549 o‘pka saratoni hujayralariga selektiv ta’siri ilmiy asoslandi. Olingan natijalar Schoenoplectus triqueter o‘simligining ekologik muhofaza nuqtai nazaridan ahamiyatini ta’kidlab, farmatsevtika sohasida istiqbolli xomashyo bo‘lish imkoniyatini ko‘rsatadi.
