Zamonaviy integrativ madaniyatlararo muloqotda tarjima eng muhim vosita hisoblanadi. Tarjima ikki til o‘tasidagi ma’lumotlarni shuningdek madaniyatlar munosabatlarni mustahkamlovchi rishtadir. Bu jarayonda til va madaniyat munosabatlari, shuningdek, unda aks etadigan milliy-madaniy birliklarning keng ko‘lamini realiyalar, ularning shakllanish jarayonlari va qo‘llanilish sohalari, til sathida namoyon bo‘lishi, nutqda va yozuvda voqelanishi kabi masalalar ancha keng o‘rganilgan.Tadqiqotning maqsadi ingliz badiiy asarlaridagi realiyalarning milliy-madaniy, leksik-semantik, stilistik xususiyatlarini aniqlash, ularning o‘zbek tiliga tarjimada berilish masalalarini yoritishdan iborat.
