THE PROBLEM OF SECONDARY SALINITY OF IRRIGATED LANDS IN NAMANGAN REGION AND THE OPPORTUNITIES OF ITS ELIMINATION

This article analyzes the problems of secondary salinization of fields in irrigated lands of the Namangan region based on data for the last 23 years (2000–2022). Also, the effect of low-water agrotechnologies on soil salinity has been studied. According to the results of laboratory analysis, water-saving agrotechnologies such as terracing and mulching have a significant effect on reducing soil salinity.
