PHYSICAL CULTURE OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN: OBJECTIVES, MOTOR QUALITIES, AND RELATED PROFESSIONAL THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE

This topic is aimed at developing the physical culture of preschool children, fostering their attitude toward a healthy lifestyle, and acquiring the professional-theoretical knowledge necessary for nurturing their physical activity and qualities. The topic covers the concept of physical culture and its educational, health-improving, and developmental functions, as well as the main physical qualities that should be developed in children (strength, agility, endurance, balance, and speed). Additionally, the theoretical foundations for properly organizing physical education activities in preschool institutions and enhancing the professional competence of educators are also examined. This knowledge plays an important role in ensuring the healthy development of children.
