PRINCIPLES OF MATERIAL SELECTION AND DEVELOPMENT FOR LANGUAGE LEARNING

This paper analyzes foreign language-learning materials, textbooks, which have been used widely in Uzbekistan. It has presented six principles for designing language materials. On the bases of these principles, we developed recommendations and offers for materials development.
