This article explores the transformative potential of integrating digital pedagogy into teacher education programs to enhance the media competence of prospective teachers. Using mixed methods, the study assesses elementary teachers' media competence through quantitative surveys and explores their experiences with digital pedagogy through qualitative interviews, focus group discussions, and classroom observations. Results show a statistically significant increase in media competency scores after the intervention, qualitative insights that reveal critical thinking skills, increased ethical awareness, and improved navigation in the digital information landscape. The findings contribute to the discourse on innovative teacher education by highlighting the need to integrate digital tools to prepare teachers for the complexities of the 21st century.
