THE TERM COLLOCATION IN WORLD LINGUISTICS AND ITS STUDY

When thinking about the problems of combination of words, syntagmatics, valence theory in Western linguistics, it is necessary to make an accent on the combination of words called collocation. The multifaceted nature of the issue of determining the size of collocation in international linguistics leads to diversity in its understanding. A perfect definition of collocation, the development of bilingual dictionaries for them, will contribute to the rapid development of applied linguistics and will help to reduce the problems of machine translation.
