Аннотация

В конце ХХ и начале XXI века Арабская Республика Египет как во внутренней, так и во внешней политике боролась с религиозным экстремизмом, радикализмом и терроризмом, которые представляли большую угрозу безопасности и стабильности страны. В статье анализируется особенности борьбы с религиозным экстремизмом и терроризмом в политике региональной безопасности Египта в период президентства Хосни Мубарака и Абдель Фаттаха ас-Сиси.
