It is important to study the processes of migration and accumulation of chemical elements in the soil-plant system. In this research work, the features of accumulation of heavy metals by Indigoferatinctoria L., native to India, Southeast Asia, during the period of adaptation to the soil and climatic conditions of the Fergana Valley are studied. According to the research results, the Indigofera tinctoria plant absorbs metals differently from different soils depending on their chemical composition and the amount of elements. Elements such as Cu, Zn, Sr, Mo, Cd accumulate in different quantities in different parts of the plant. The BAC of Zn, Sr, Mo and Cd varies from 1 to 15 in irrigated saline meadow and meadow-oasis soils. The BAC of Mo reaches 77 in compacted soils. The absorption coefficient of Ni, Ba and Pb metals by the Indigofera tinctoria plant is less than 1. Only in meadow-oasis soils does the BC of Pb slightly increase from 1.
