THE CONCEPT OF APHORISM IN LITERATURE AND ITS SPECIFIC FEATURES

This article analyzes the role of the aphorism in literature, its theoretical and terminological concept, and its specific features. The article explores aspects of the aphorism such as its authorial nature, the unity of concise form and profound content, and its imagery, using examples from the works of Alisher Navoi, Abdullah Qodiriy from Uzbek literature, and William Shakespeare from world literature. The research reveals the ideological and aesthetic functions of aphorisms in a literary text.
