Abstract

The synthesis of nanoascorbate chitosan was carried out in a water–isopropyl alcohol azeotropic system using the initial component ratio of chitosan, ascorbic acid, and stabilizer (sodium tripolyphosphate) at 4:1:0.25. The effect of the resulting polymer preparative form of nanoascorbate chitosan on the productivity of the “Liangguang” silkworm breed was studied; a 13.5% increase in productivity was observed compared to the control.
