This article examines the characteristics of similes at the syntactic level and their impact on the imagery and expressiveness of artistic language. It explores the semantic, stylistic, and syntactic units used to express simile relations, along with their core components (subject, standard, basis, and formal indicators). External and internal means of depicting similes in poetic images are analyzed, highlighting their universality as a linguistic category. The study is based on syntactic methods and approaches, aiming to systematically describe the nature of similes.
