Abstract

New directions such as sociolinguistics, pragmatic linguistics, cognitive linguistics, ethnolinguistics, linguocultural studies, linguopoetics have appeared in modern linguistics. Speech sounds, additional meanings expressed in them, emotional-expressive properties of sounds are studied in linguopoetics. Stylistic phenomena such as rhythm, rhyme, and intonation serve as important phonostylistic tools when analyzing the meanings of sounds.

In this article, we will consider the stylistic figures of rhythm, rhyme and the supersegmental phonetic tool intonation (tone).
