THE TURON THEATER TROUPE: A SOCIO-SPIRITUAL FACTOR IN THE FORMATION OF UZBEK STAGE ART

This scholarly article analyzes the unique role of Abdulla Avloniy in Uzbek enlightenment and the Jadid movement. The author explores Avloniy’s contributions to public education, modern schooling, moral upbringing, national awakening, theatrical art, and journalism. Particular attention is given to his efforts in popularizing cultural and educational work through the “Turon” theater troupe, as well as his role in the development of a modern literary Uzbek language. Avloniy’s pedagogical views, publicistic activities, and promotion of national revival ideas remain relevant and significant even today.
