CHARACTERS IN UZBEK FOLK TALES: A LINGUOPOETIC, ARTISTIC, AND PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract

This article analyzes the artistic and philosophical content of the main characters found in Uzbek folk tales. Through positive and negative characters, the tales reflect the people's perceptions of good and evil, their moral values, and social ideals. These characters serve as symbolic representations of the nation's worldview, aesthetic ideals, and spiritual consciousness. The article examines the functional and aesthetic roles of these images, their contribution to intensifying conflicts between characters, and their influence on the development of the dramatic plot. It also explores the origins of these characters in oral folklore and their connections with mythological archetypes, cognitive models, and cultural perceptions. Linguopoetic analysis helps uncover the semantic layers of the tales and the unique aspects of the national worldview, leading to important conclusions.
